INTRODUCTION

Western-style-horse-instructor

My name is Orsi Szemethy, I am a visual artist, author, and riding instructor.

I graduated from the University of Fine Arts in 2003, and since then I have been working as a freelance painter and writer. After moving from Budapest to Zsámbék in 2009, I have also been involved in teaching drawing and painting, aiming to provide playful training to the youngest, kindergarten-age children.

For me, creation is a lifestyle, together with working with animals. In 2020, I completed my riding instructor training, and currently, I work with two of my own horses and a small herd at Varázstanya in Mány. Below you’ll see my currently available art in the gallery. The blog details my relationship with nature and animals, and you can learn about horseriding as a form of art.
